The Lander Institute- Jerusalem Academic Center was established by Touro College of New York. Today, The Lander Institute is an independent Israeli institution of higher education, consisting of the School of Business Administration, The School of Judaic Studies, The School of Land of Israel and Jerusalem Studies, The Division of Continuing Education and The School of Tourism. The Lander Institute is fully recognized and accredited by Israel's Council for Higher Education to grant Bachelors' and Masters' degrees. Additionally, programs of the School of Continuing Education and the School of Tourism offer various certification programs that are recognized by Israel's Ministry of Education, Ministry of Tourism, Ministry of Trade and Industry, and other certifying bodies.
The Lander Institute's School of Business Administration has joined the ranks of Israel's leading business schools, offering a diversified curriculum and the latest courses in the field. Our goal is to enrich the students' world of knowledge and provide them the tools they will need to successfully meet the managerial challenges of the 21st Century. The Lander School of Business Administration has committed itself to making a major contribution in shaping the next generation of business and management professionals in and around Jerusalem.
The Lander Institute's School of Business Administration uniquely combines academic studies of the highest level with a special learning environment that stresses personal attention from the application process through graduation. No wonder, then, that some 40% of all students studying business administration in Jerusalem have chosen to do so at The Lander Institute. The goal of the bachelor-of-arts program curriculum is to provide a strong and general base of knowledge in business administration, together with more extensive expertise in related fields of specialization. In the study framework, the student will acquire the academic foundation for understanding processes and procedures followed by every type
of organization.
The Lander Institute's English Division offers a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration for the English-speaking public. This three-year program is fully accredited by Israel's Council for Higher Education.
In addition, the English Division offers a wide variety of continuing education courses, taught in English to the English speaking public. Currently, we are offering a wide array of vocational, liberal arts, and enrichment courses for both career advancement and personal enrichment.
The latest addition to our course offerings in English is the Beit Midrash for Women, in which students of all ages and backgrounds can enjoy high-level Torah lectures in English. The Beit Midrash meets one day per week for sessions of one semester, and offers lectures on a wide variety of Torah topics by well-known lecturers. The Beit Midrash is open to women of all ages, and may be combined with academic studies in other Lander Institute schools.
